Mirchi Bajji

 All You Need:

  • Mirchis
  • 3/4 cup Besan
  • 2 tbsp rice flour
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp oil
  • Salt
  • Stuffing - Imli paste, Jeera or Vamu, Dry coconut powder.

The Recipe:

  • Mix the flours and sieve them. This is a very important step to get crispy bajjis
  • Grind the stuffing
  • Add salt, karam, soda and 1 tsp oil and mix together
  • Now add water and make a semi-thick batter
  • Cut the ends of the mirchis and cut the middle and take off the seeds.
  • Add the stuffing 
  • Fry them in hot oil
