Eggless Wheat flour Basic Cake

All You Need
  • 1 cup Whole Wheat flour
  • 3/4 cup powdered Jaggery
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup oil or ghee
  • 1/2 cup Buttermilk 
  • 1tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • Vanilla essence 
The Recipe
  • Mix all the dry ingredients first thoroughly 
  • Add the wet ingredients and fold them in
  • Pour the batter in a loaf pan and bake at 350 F for 25-30 mins or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean
  • Immediately store in Aluminum foil while still warm




NOTES:
  • If you want an egg based version, you can replace the buttermilk with 2 eggs
  • You can substitute wheat flour with All purpose flour too and the proportions are the same
  • You can substitute Jaggery with sugar and the proportions are the same
