All You Need
NOTES:
- 1 cup Whole Wheat flour
- 3/4 cup powdered Jaggery
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup oil or ghee
- 1/2 cup Buttermilk
- 1tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- Vanilla essence
The Recipe
- Mix all the dry ingredients first thoroughly
- Add the wet ingredients and fold them in
- Pour the batter in a loaf pan and bake at 350 F for 25-30 mins or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean
- Immediately store in Aluminum foil while still warm
NOTES:
- If you want an egg based version, you can replace the buttermilk with 2 eggs
- You can substitute wheat flour with All purpose flour too and the proportions are the same
- You can substitute Jaggery with sugar and the proportions are the same
