Lauki Halwa (Bottle Gourd Halwa)

All You Need:
  • 3 cups Grated Lauki (Bottle Gourd)
  • 1 cup + 2 tbsp Sugar 
  • Some Elachi powder
  • 6 tbsp ghee
  • Cashews and Raisins

The Recipe:
  • Add 5 tbsp of ghee and let it melt
  • Add grated Lauki and cook for 3 minutes
  • Add sugar and keep mixing intermittently
  • As soon as the Lauki is cooked (touch it and it should be soft and cooked without raw smell), turn off the stove
  • Add elachi powder and mix
  • Garnish with Cashews and Raisins fried in 1 tbsp of ghee
