All You Need:
The Recipe:
- Idli Rava - 1.5 cup
- Poha (Thin variety) - 1 cup
- Sour Curd/Buttermilk - 1 cup
- Baking Soda - a pinch (Optional)
- Water as needed
- Salt as needed
The Recipe:
- Wash and soak the poha in curd for 3-4 minutes. Mash it .up
- Add the Idli rava, soda and salt and allow to sit for 10 minutes
- Add water as needed to make a idli batter like consistency
- Make idlis with the batter. They come out super soft and spongy.
