Congress Palli

All You Need:
  • Peanuts 2 cups
  • Curry leaves
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Haldi 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • Salt
  • Hing 1/2 tsp
  • Oil 2 tsp
The Recipe:
  • In a microwave safe bowl, mv the peanuts for a minute. Mix well and MW for another minute
  • Heat a skillet on a low flame and roast the peanuts (should not burn)
  • De-skin the peanuts and set aside
  • Dry roast the curry leaves and let them cool
  • Crush the curry leaves with the de-skinned peanuts (the peanuts shud split)
  • In a small bowl, mix the red chilli powder,pepper powder and haldi
  • Heat oil in the same skillet (not very hot). Add hing and turn off the heat
  • To this oil mixture, add the crushed peanuts and give it a good mix along with salt
