All You Need:
- Lauki pieces cut in medium large cubes 1 cup
- Moong Dal 6 tbsp
- Turmeric
- Green chillies
- Cilantro
- Pepper
- Jeera
- Coconut
- Tadka -> Urad dal,Mustard seeds,Curry leaves,Hing,Jeera
- Pressure cook lauki pieces,Moong dal and haldi with enough water
- Meanwhile, grind the Cilantro,greenchillies,Pepper,Jeera,Coconut into a paste and keep aside
- In a tbsp of oil, add tadka and then add the Moong dal mixture and salt
- After 5-6 mts, add the Cilantro mixture and switch off stove
- Goes very well with Rotis
