Vada

All You Need:
  • Urad dal
  • Big Onion
  • Green chillies
  • ginger
  • Curry leaves
The Recipe:
  • Soak urad dal for 4 hrs
  • Finely chop 3/4 onion and the remaining quarter in big pieces
  • Finely chop green chillies,ginger and curry leaves
  • Drain and grind the urad dal with as little water as possible
  • Now add the big onion chunks and grind. It gives fluffiness
  • Add onions,chillies,ginger,salt,whole pepper. Make vadas. Deep fry in medium heat
