All You Need:
- Besan 1 cup
- Melted ghee 1 cup
- Sugar 3/4 cup
- Elachi
The Recipe:
- In a big sturdy pot, take 1 cup of water , add sugar and bring it to a boil till the syrup reaches a 1 string consistency
- Reduce heat and pour ghee and besan in a steady flow and stir
- You need to stir continuously till the ghee leaves the sides of the pan and the mixture starts to get porous and light gold in color
- add elachi powder
- Pour on a greased plate and spread evenly
- Cut into diamond shapes
