Mysore Pak

All You Need:
  • Besan 1 cup
  • Melted ghee 1 cup
  • Sugar 3/4 cup
  • Elachi
The Recipe:
  • In a big sturdy pot, take 1 cup of water , add sugar and bring it to a boil till the syrup reaches a 1 string consistency
  • Reduce heat and pour ghee and besan in a steady flow and stir
  • You need to stir continuously till the ghee leaves the sides of the pan and the mixture starts to get porous and light gold in color
  • add elachi powder
  • Pour on a greased plate and spread evenly
  • Cut into diamond shapes
