All You Need:
- Wheat Flour 1.5 cups
- Sugar 1/4 cup
- Milk 1/4 cup
- Ghee 2tbsp
- Pinch of salt
The Recipe:
- Sieve the salt and flour together
- In a pan, combine the sugar,milk,ghee and bring to a boil
- Allow the sugar to dissolve and cool completely
- Add this to flour mixture, a little at a time and knead into a firm dough
- Divide it into 2 equal portions and roll out each portion into 2 squares that are 6 mm thick
- Prick the surface with fork at regular intervals
- Cut into diamonds and allow to dry out for 30 mts
- Deep fry in hot oil over medium flame
