All You Need:
- Toor dal 1.5 cups
- Tomatoes
- Haldi
- Cilantro
- Red Chilli Powder
- Dhaniya Powder
- Jeera
- Mustard Seeds
- Green chillies
- Hing
- Onions
The Recipe:
- Boil toor dal along with tomatoes, haldi to a soft paste
- In a pan, heat butter and add mustard seeds,jeera,green chillies,hing,curry leaves,onions
- Fry till onions change color and add haldi, red chilli powder,Dhaniya powder,dal mix,cilantro,water and boil
- Decorate with cream
- You can add ginger-garlic paste while boiling too
Variation: Instead of toor dal, use black gram 1cup+Chana dal 1/2 cup+Rajma 1/4 cup. Soak for 8 hrs and then boil with tomatoes. Rest is the same.
