Paravannam

All You Need:
  • Rice 1 cup
  • Jaggery 1/2 cup
  • Milk 4 cups
  • Ghee 1 cup
  • Elachi powder
  • Raisins and Cashews, freid in ghee
The Recipe:
  • Heat ghee in a deep pan and add rice
  • Mix well and make sure the rice is well-coated with ghee
  • Slowly add milk and stir
  • Close lid and allow rice to cook stirring occasionally
  • Add jaggery and mix well to avoid lumps
  • Once the jaggery is well incorporated and pudding is quite thick,switch off flame adding elachi powder
  • Add the raisins and kaju fried in ghee
