All You Need (Aunty recipe):
- Tadka -> Mustard seeds,jeera,red chillies,Curry leaves
- Peanuts
- Haldi
- Poha (atukulu)
- Hing
The Recipe:
- Heat a tsp of oil and add the tadka. Then add peanuts, salt and haldi
- Keep mixing till they roast
- Add Poha
- Stir continuously till poha turns crisp
- Add Hing in the end
Variation 2
- Dry roast flat poha until it turns crisp and keep aside
- Make a mixture of Saunf+Salt+Dhaniya +Jeera+Sugar and keep aside
- In a pan heat a spoon of oil and add peanuts, curry leaves, green chillies and some dalia (putnalu. make sure this does not get overfried), red chilli powder, turmeric, dry coconut pieces
- In the end, add the poha and the powder and mix well.
- Let it cool completely and then store in an airtight container
