Chivda

All You Need (Aunty recipe):
  • Tadka -> Mustard seeds,jeera,red chillies,Curry leaves
  • Peanuts
  • Haldi
  • Poha (atukulu)
  • Hing
The Recipe:
  • Heat a tsp of oil and add the tadka. Then add peanuts, salt and haldi
  • Keep mixing till they roast
  • Add Poha
  • Stir continuously till poha turns crisp
  • Add Hing in the end


Variation 2
  • Dry roast flat poha until it turns crisp and keep aside
  • Make a mixture of Saunf+Salt+Dhaniya +Jeera+Sugar and keep aside
  • In a pan heat a spoon of oil and add peanuts, curry leaves, green chillies and some dalia (putnalu. make sure this does not get overfried), red chilli powder, turmeric, dry coconut pieces
  • In the end, add the poha and the powder and mix well.
  • Let it cool completely and then store in an airtight container
