7 Cups Barfi

All You Need:
  • Besan 1 cup
  • Coconut or almonds or cashews 1 cup
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Ghee 1 cup
  • Sugar 3 cups
The Recipe:
  • If using coconut, grind so its softer and fine. If using badam or kaju, soak in boiling water for an hr, peel badam and grind with 1 cup of milk
  • Fry besan in 1 tbsp of ghee till fragrant
  • Combine sugar,ghee,milk,almond/coconut with besan and put flame on medium
  • Cook until it thickens and leaves the sides of the pan (20 mts nearly)
  • Remove from stove and pour on a greased plate
  • When it cools, cut into pieces
