Malai Kofta

Koftas The Recipe:
  • Mix the following together - 3 medium potatoes boiled and crushed, 1 cup grated paneer,chopped chillies, cilantro, Jeera powder (1tsp),Finely chopped nuts (kaju,almonds) 1sp, salt, all purpose flour 2 spn,bread crumbs. Make sure you DO NOT add any water while mixing the above ingredients.
  • Make dumplings in your desired shape and keep aside.
  • Roll the dumplings in all purpose flour and deep fry the koftas. Keep them aside.
 
Gravy The Recipe:
  • In hot oil, add some onions and fry.
  • Then add tomatoes, ginger-garlic paste, haldi and cook till the raw flavor is gone.
  • Add jeera powder,coriander powder,red chilli powder,salt and mix well.
  • Let this mixture cool and then grind into a smooth paste.
  • In a pan, add little oil and fry the above mixture.
  • Add cream and let it boil for few minutes. Add water too if needed.
  • Add some cashewnut powder and cilantro and switch off the flame.
  • Add kofthas to this gravy 5 mts before serving.
