Chicken Curry

Variation 1 (JhansiSista Recipe):
  • Marinate Chicken with ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, pasupu, 1 tbsp salt, 1 tbsp oil, 2 tbsp curd and keep aside
  • In a kadai, heat some oil and add Chekka, 3 cloves, 2 elachi, long slit onions, Green chillies, chopped garlic. Fry for a min or 2.
  • Then add chicken followed by some tomato and mint. Close lid and cook on a medium flame for 8 mins
  • Adjust salt as needed since we added to the marination
  • Add roasted dhaniya powder, plain dhaniya powder, chicken masala, 1/4 tsp garam masala, 1 small glass water, cilantro
  • Close lid and cook for 10-12 mins
