Avakay

 All You Need:

  • 1 tiny (small) coffee glass for measurements
  • 1 Mango or 1 Dosakay
  • 1 glass Karam (Three mangoes preferred)
  • Between 1/2 to 3/4 glass salt (should be less than 3/4 glass and more than 1/2 glass)
  • 1 1/4 glass avapindi (slightly more than 1 glass)
  • 1 spoon pachi menthulu (fenugreek seeds)
  • Inguva
  • Peanut Oil
  • 3 spoons Mustard oil

The Recipe:

  • Mix all the powders and keep aside for 2 hrs
  • Then add the mukkalu,oil and mustard oil
Note: For vegetable avakay, the same above ingredients but very less proportions. And add menthi pindi.
