- Urad Dal – 1 cup
- Rice – 1 cup
- Plain Oats – 2 cups
- Methi seeds – 4-5
- Chana Dal – 1 spoon
- Soak all the ingredients except Oats for 8 hrs
- Soak the oats separately for 5-8 hrs
- Grind all of them together and make a batter
- No need to ferment. You can use it directly

- Plain Oats - 1 cup dry roasted,cooled and ground
- Sooji - 1.25 cups
- Rice Flour - 3/4 cup
- Maida - 1/4 cup
- Salt
- Green chillies - Finely chopped
- Curry leaves
- Cilantro
- Buttermilk - 1/2 cup
- Water as needed
- Mix all the above ingredients and let the batter sit for 30 mts - 1 hr. It might thicken after a while since rava absorbs water
- at the time of making dosas,add more water such that it is of pouring consistency
- Pre-heat an iron tawa on high for a minute. Sprinkle few drops of water such that it sizzles. Reduce heat to low
- Make dosas like rava dosa
- You can add grated coconut,carrot or kaju for a variation of this dosa
