Vegetable/Alu Bonda

All You Need:
  • Veggies of your choice (potatoes,beans,carrots,peas,capsicum)
  • Sliced Onions
  • Besan 1 cup
  • Rice Flour 1/3 cup
  • Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp cooking soda
The Recipe:
  • Cut all the veggies and boil them
  • In a tbsp of oil, fry onions and add the veggies with salt
  • Mix the Besan, rice flour, chilli powder,salt,soda in a bowl and add water to make a semi-liquid mix
  • Make balls from the veggie mix, dip in the besan batter and deep fry
Variation: Cut corners of a bread slice, dip in milk and gently squeze out milk. Put the veggie ball in the bread and cover it. Dip this ball in the besan batter and fry
