Pesara Pappu Pulusu

All You Need:
  • Moong Dal
  • Tamarind juice
  • Sugar
  • Curry leaves
  • Hing
  • Cilantro
  • Pulusu Powder -> Methi seeds,red chillies (lot of them),pepper,hing,Dhaniya (lil). Fry all in a tsp of oil and grind
  • Tadka -> Mustard seeds,Jeera,Red chillies, Hing
The Recipe:
  • Boil Moong dal and keep aside
  • In a bowl, add tamarind juice,sugar,powder and put on heat
  • After simmering for 1 minute, add dal,curry leaves,hing,some water,salt and allow to boil
  • Add Cilantro too
  • Add Tadka. The more this boils, the tastier it gets.
