Nilambralu

All You Need:
  • Maida
  • Dalda or ghee
  • Sugar Powder
The Recipe:
  • Heat dalda or ghee till fumes begin to appear and mix with maida (thadi podi ga)
  • Then add little water and mix to a poori dough consistency
  • Close with a lid and keep aside for 30 mts
  • Knead the dough again and let it stay for 1 hr
  • Take very small balls and roll into a poori and cut longitudinally in the middle leaving the sides.
  • Seal the ends tightly (you get a choclate shape). Fry
  • Sprinkle sugar powder on the hot nilambralu
