All You Need:
- Rice 1 cup
- Toor Dal 3/4 cup
- Vegetables -> Carrots,Beans, Potato etc
- Tamarind juice
- Masala ingrdients -> Chana dal 2 tsp, Urad 2 tsp,Red Chillies,Cloves, Cinnamon, bayleaf, Dhaniya 3tsp,Methi seeds 1/2 tsp,Jeera 2 tsp
- Tadka -> Mustard Seeds,Jeera, red Chillies,Curry leaves, Hing
- In a spoon of oil, roast masala ingredients and grind to a fine powder. In the same mixie jar, add some water and coconut and grind to get a masala paste
- Boil Dal and vegetables separately
- Keep cooked rice ready
- In a thick bottomed pan, put tamarind jucie on heat first
- Once it begins to boil, add dal and let it boil (bubbles shud appear)
- Add paste and vegetables and sim the stove
- Then add rice and cook for another 5 mts
- Add Tadka
