Beerakay/Lauki(Sorakay) Curry variations

Recipe 1:
  • Fry Onions
  • Add ginger-garlic paste, dhaniya powder,red chilli powder,salt,haldi
  • Add the beerakay pieces and cook well
Recipe 2:
  • Make a paste of -> Coconut,ginger-garlic,Cinnamon,Cloves,Cilantro,Dhaniya,Roasted peanuts,Roasted sesame seeds,water
  • In a kadai, fry onions. Then add red chilli powder,salt,haldi and paste
  • Let it simmer for some time. Then add the beerakay or lauki pieces and cook for some time
  • Add some water and put in cooker for 1 whistle. In case of beerakay, no need of cooker. You can directly cook in the pan.
