All You Need:
- Chopped Okra : 1 cup
- Spicy Dalia Powder : 1 to 2 tbsp
- Mustard Seeds : 1/2 tsp
- Chana Dal : 1/2 tsp
- Urad Dal : 1/2 tsp
- Curry Leaves : 2 sprigs
- Dried Red Chillies : 2
- Haldi
The Recipe:
- Wash and dry the okra, chop them into small pieces.
- Heat a tablespoon of oil in a pan. Add the mustard seeds, chana dal and urad dal and let them splutter.
- When the seeds stop tossing, add the curry leaves and red chillies and fry for a few seconds.N
- Now add the chopped okra and turmeric powder and mix well. Fry for a few minutes and cover with a lid.
- Let them cook on a low flame, stirring occasionally.
- When it's done, add the spicy dalia powder and salt and fry for another 2 minutes.
