All You Need:
- 1 1/4 cups All purpose flour
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (at room temperature)
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup mashed ripe banana (mash with a fork,approx 3 bananas)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 tsp salt
The Recipe:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease and flour a 9x9 inch pan.
- Sift the baking soda, flour and salt in a medium bowl. Keep aside.
- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light using an electric mixer.
- Add eggs and Vanilla and beat well.
- Add the mashed bananas and vanilla stir to combine.
- With a rubber spatula, mix in the flour until just incorporated. Do not over mix.
- Fold in the walnuts
- Pour batter into a 9x9 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes or until done.
