All You Need:
- Plantain / Raw Banana : 1
- Curd : 1 cup
- Green Chillies : 1 or 2
- Chopped Ginger : 1 tsp
- Mustard Seeds : 1/2 tsp
- Chana Dal : 1/2 tsp
- Urad Dal : 1/2 tsp
- Curry Leaves : 1 stem
- Red Chilli : 1
- Haldi
The Recipe:
- Pressure cook the plantain for 3 whistles.
- Peel and chop the plantain into small pieces and set aside.
- Heat oil in a pan for seasoning.
- Add the mustard seeds, chana dal and urad dal and let them splutter.
- Now add the chopped ginger, chopped green chillies, red chilli and curry leaves and fry for few seconds.
- Turn off the flame and let it cool completely.
- Combine the plantain, salt, turmeric powder tempered All You Need with curd and mix well. Serve with rice.
