Aratikaya Perugu Pachadi

All You Need:
  • Plantain / Raw Banana : 1
  • Curd : 1 cup
  • Green Chillies : 1 or 2
  • Chopped Ginger : 1 tsp
  • Mustard Seeds : 1/2 tsp
  • Chana Dal : 1/2 tsp
  • Urad Dal : 1/2 tsp
  • Curry Leaves : 1 stem
  • Red Chilli : 1
  • Haldi
The Recipe:
  • Pressure cook the plantain for 3 whistles.
  • Peel and chop the plantain into small pieces and set aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan for seasoning.
  • Add the mustard seeds, chana dal and urad dal and let them splutter.
  • Now add the chopped ginger, chopped green chillies, red chilli and curry leaves and fry for few seconds.
  • Turn off the flame and let it cool completely.
  • Combine the plantain, salt, turmeric powder tempered All You Need with curd and mix well. Serve with rice.
