All You Need
- Kootu Masala - 1/3 cup coconut, 1 green chilli, 1 red chilli, 1/4 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp jeera,small piece of ginger, 1 tsp dhaniya seeds (optional) and 2 tsp Putnalu (optional)
- Veggies of your choice - Alu, Carrot, Peas, Tomatoes
- Tadka - Avalu, Curry leaves, Hing
- 2-3 tbsp oil
- Turmeric powder
- Salt
- Washed moong dal 1/2 cup
The Recipe
- Heat pressure cooker with oil and add tadka ingredients
- Then add tomato and cook for a minute
- Add mixed veggies, turmeric powder, salt, water
- Add the washed moong dal and kootu masala
- Cook on low pressure for 4 whistles
