All You Need :
Recipe Notes :
- 3 cups Sooji
- 3 cups milk
- 3 cups water
- 3 cups sugar
- 3 tspn Cardamom powder
- Orange food color
- Green food color
Recipe Notes :
- Dry roast Sooji first and keep aside. U may roast it in a spoon of ghee too.It is optional though.
- Now take a pan and heat 1 cup milk and 1 cup water
- After 2-3 minutes, add the sugar and cardamom powder
- Let the sugar dissolve completely and when bubbles begin to appear add 1 cup Sooji slowly and mix so that no lumps are formed. Mix for a minute and switch off the stove.
- Grease a plate and spread the sooji mixture on it.Once it cools down ,cut into desired shapes.
- This process gives you the middle white color of our Tiranga Kesari.
- To get Orange and Green colors, repeat the above process from step 2 except that u also add respective food colors along with sugar and cardamom.
