Putnala laddu

All You Need:
  • 1 cup split roasted gram or putnalu
  • Sugar 1/2 cup
  • Ghee 1/2 cup or 2 tbsp warm milk
  • Cardamom
  • Cashews

The Recipe:
  • Heat a spoon of ghee and roast cashews
  • Grind putnalu into a fine powder and set aside
  • Grind Sugar and Cardamom into a fine powder using spice blender
  • Add the powdered s

    ugar,ghee or warm milk and cashews to the putnalu powder and mix well
  • Divide them into equal portions and shape them into round balls

Yield: 5 rice cups of putnalu yields 40 medium size laddus
