Pistachio Cake (green color inside)

All You Need:
  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1 pkg. JellO Pistachio Flavor Instant Pudding and Pie Filling
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp. almond extract
  • 7 drops green food coloring (optional)
  • Powdered sugar
The Recipe:
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 
  • Place all ingredients except powdered sugar in a large bowl. Beat with electric mixer just to moisten. Beat on medium speed for 4 minutes.
  • Pour into greased and floured fluted tube or tube pan.
  • Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Cool on baking rack, then remove from pan.
  • Dust with powdered sugar.
