Dhokla

All You Need for Khaman Dhokla:
  • 1 cup Besan
  • 1/2 cup Curd
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • Turmeric
  • Soda dissolved in water
  • Tadka - Avalu, Karepaku, Greenchillies, water, cilantro
  • Grated Coconut (Optional)
The Recipe:
  • Mix all the dry ingredients first. Then add curd and water.
  • Dissolve soda in water and add to the batter
  • Pour the batter into a lightly greased thali and steam for 10 mts
  • Add Tadka and grated coconut (optional)
  • Serve hot with green chutney
